How to Order

Order by online by uploading your picture on the listing page. We also accept order over the phone if required on 07955 085 110.

You can check out the suitability of your picture, ask questions before ordering and get a FREE Preview using our online webform Preview Request Form

Preview Request Service

Complete the online form and email your picture to us at enquiries@skyestitching.co.uk or post your picture to us.
You will receive Sample/s based on your request, together prices & instructions on how to order.

Placing the Order

Once the order is added to your basket proceed to checkout where you either register as a new customer or sign in as an existing customer.
Choose your delivery option - from 2nd class up to Next Day Delivery (Please Note: This refers to the postage only as all kits are custom made so take 2-3 weeks to produce).
Choose payment method - Credit/Debit Card & PayPal & complete the purchase.

Instructions / Important Information / Design Process

All Stitch a Photo kits / charts take 2-3 weeks to produce as each design is hand edited to achieve a high quality design.
IMPORTANT - Please ensure the image is of good quality, correctly exposed & a good size.
All designs are computer generated (using professional software) and are intended to show the best likeness but may not show the full quality until completely stitched.
A preview sample/s preview design will be emailed to you within 48 hours of purchase unless the Preview Request Service is used.
A finalised (Hand Edited) sample/s will be emailed within 5-7 working days after receiving payment
Upon approval the Kit / Chart will be produced and dispatched to you within 7-10 working days (often sooner)
All design require approval in order to produce the kit, failure to approve a design or if no contact can be made the order may be subject to cancellation, see details below in the Cancellation section.
PLEASE NOTE: If you opt to change your picture after purchase please advise this after the PREVIEW sample otherwise there will be a charge of £10.00 to cover the cost of the time taken to finalise the design.

Alterations

Any picture can be altered to fit your requirements, proportions allowing. The types of alterations can be as follows:

Cropped
Background can be fully or partially removed, leaving it blank or inserting a full or half stitch background
Parts of the picture can be removed (will depend on the picture if this is possible)
Adjust any problem areas i.e. Red Eye
Colour photographs can be changed to either black & white or sepia tones (browns)

Terms & Conditions

All preview samples are rough samples to give an ideal of how the design will look. A final sample is later emailed after payment is received.
We have the right to re-use all designs produced under the Stitch A Photo listing unless requested otherwise.
Any physical photographs are always returned when an order is dispatched.
Photographs must be copyright free or you must own the rights. Enquiries / Orders may be refused if there is any doubts in regards to the copyrights.
All online images i.e Painting, Animations, Graphic Designs, Logos are classed as copyright protected and we are unable to produce a design without consent from the original designer/artist.

Cancelling an Order

If you wish to cancel a Stitch a Photo order please contact us to discuss any problems.
If you are unhappy with the final design/s please contact us with your concerns and we do our best to resolve any issues.
Due to the time and effort taken to produce the final design/s only a proportionate amount will be refunded.
If you cancel an order before the new final sample is emailed then 100% will refunded.
If 1 or more final samples are emailed and refused then only 75% of the payment will be refunded. This allows for the time and effort taken to produce sample/s.
Please note there are no refunds on PDF e-charts once they have been emailed.

PLEASE NOTE: All Stitch a Photo design are required to be approved before the final kit can be produced. If no contact can be made within 2 weeks of the finalised sample being sent then the order will be cancelled and refunded.

Refunds & Returns

All Stitch a Photo designs are tailor made to order so are not returnable or refundable.
A finalised Sample/s is emailed to ensure customer satisfaction before the kit/chart is produced.
Any cancellations should be requested at this time before dispatch, see above "Cancelling an Order".

GIFT VOUCHERS (Stitch a Photo) - Once a Gift Voucher has been issued it is non-refundable and must be redeemed against a Stitch a Photo product.

What's Included

All designs are produced in a spiral bound booklet and come in a plastic wallet. The larger kits may come with separate threads which are detailed with the matching symbol and colour number.
