Our Stitch a Photo service transforms your favourite photographs—whether of family members, pets, or special places—into personalised Counted cross stitch designs. Using professional software and hand editing, we create clear, easy-to-follow patterns that capture your image’s unique details, allowing you to recreate your memories stitch by stitch.

📸 What Kind of Photos Can I Use?

You can use any personal, copyright-free photo, such as:

• A family member, friend or loved one

• A much-loved pet

• A special place, occasion or memory

📩 From Photo to Pattern – Step by Step

1. Complete the Preview Request Form

2. Email your photo to enquiries@skyestitching.co.uk or post it to our address

3. We'll send a FREE, no-obligation preview sample within 3–5 working days (excluding weekends & bank holidays)

We're happy to provide multiple preview samples or make alterations (e.g. cropping or removing backgrounds), although these may take a little longer.

• Larger kits available: add £1.25 per extra inch (e.g. 10" x 12" = £32.49)

ℹ️ Design Information

All designs are created using professional software and hand-edited to produce the best possible result. Some pale colours (e.g. light pinks or blues) may appear brighter in the preview but blend beautifully once stitched.

Images shown on the product listings are examples — your final design will be based entirely on the photo you provide at checkout or via email.

The full stitched effect and quality is best appreciated once the project is fully completed.

🕒 Design & Production Timeline

Each custom design takes approximately 2–3 weeks to produce, depending on the season and demand (e.g. around Christmas or Mother's Day).

To help avoid delays, we recommend replying promptly to any emails or previews we send. If a photo requires adjustments or isn't suited to the chosen size, we may send multiple options to review.

1. Preview Sample – Sent within 48 hours of receiving your order or photo (unless already requested as an enquiry)

2. Final Hand-Edited Sample – Emailed within 5–7 working days after ordering

3. Full Kit or Chart Dispatch – Posted within 7–10 working days following approval

4. Postal Chart Dispatch – Posted within 5–7 working days following approval

5. Email Chart Dispatch – emailed within 5–7 working days following approval
